Casa do Valle
Casa do Valle is a grower in the Minho Region (Vinho Verde) and has bottled wine under the Casa do Valle label since 1989. However, the estate dates back to early 1800’s and has been making wine ever since. The modern quinta is now under the direction of LuisCameira, one of the young wine makers responsible for the rising quality of Vinho Verde production. The vineyards have excellent position in the sub-region of Basto. Good grape selection and modern vinification are the keys to Casa do Valle’s excellent wines. Casa do Valle, Sociedade Agrícola, Ltd. was founded in 1987 to take care and explore the Sousa Botelho family’s estate. The production process reflects the alliance between tradition and modernity and the characteristics of the wine produced here reflect permanent search for excellence.
Since its launch in 1989, the Vinho Casa do Valle white wine and red wine are produced by the highest standards of quality in the region.
Quinta do Filoco
The Quinta do Filoco is located in Tabuaco in a unique, exquisite, natural amphitheater of great beauty in the middle of the hillsides of the Rivers Távora and Douro, on the heart of the Douro Region. Filoco wines are made by Soc. Vitícola Foz do Távora, The Estate consists of 130 hectares distributed over several of the companies Quintas in the Douro Valley. The terraced hillsides are planted with Touriga Nacional, Touriga France, Tinta Roriz, Maalvasia Fina, Rabigato and the Viosinho. The altitude varies from 50 to 550 meters. The terroir is derived from Schist soils. Both the vineyards and the wine cellar were modernised with brand new equipment and techniques.
Herdade Da Mingorra
Herdade Da Mingorra is one of the newest and most ambitious winery projects in Portugal. With one of the most modern facilities in Portugal, Herdade da Mingorra is a perfect blend of Alentejo’s farming history and its budding wine industry. Henrique Uva has cultivated the estates 135 acres of vines for the past 30 years. During that time the majority of the grapes were sold to large wineries throughout Portugal. The grapes were sold at a premium because of their high quality. However, in the past decade the price for grapes fell in Portugal and Henrique was faced with a life altering decision, tear up his beloved vineyards and replant with them with crops that would fetch a higher euro or go into the wine business. This is how Herdade da Mingorra was born and Henrique Uva became not only an exceptional grape grower but exceptional wine maker as well.
Quinta do Mouro
Quinta do Mouro is one of the Alentejo’s leading estates, but rather than adopt a new world approach, Mouro does things in a distinctly old world and opinionated manner. At heart he is a idealist, driven by his own passionate view of the wine his grapes should produce rather than t. The well situated vineyards have a natural, almost organic feel to them, and no irrigation is used – this is rare for the hot Alentejo. Like many great Bordeaux properties, the centre of this estate is a large Chateau. It’s a grand old house that was purchased by the Louro family some 30 years ago. The story goes like this, at the age of 26 Miquel Louro, a young dentist, was faced with a difficult choice, to buy a Porshe 911 or a run down vineyard. Thankfully, he bought the winery and to this day still continues to fix teeth when he is not tending to the vines.

The wine growing history of the Ugarte family goes back in time to the year 1870, when Don Amancio Ugarte started producing wines in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Overtime, his wines have gained both recognition and fame. His skills and knowledge have been handed down from generation to generation.
Heredad Ugarte have traditionally selected and harvested one hundred and thirty hectares of vineyards, in the best spots of Rioja Alavesa: Laguardia and Labastida, achieving the proper combination between location, soil and grape variety so as to obtain fine wines with balanced color and acidity that are appreciated world-wide.
Founded in the mid 19th century by the Langa family. The business has a complete family structure, where Sr. Juan José Langa is the Manager Director, his sister Sta. María Teresa Langa is in charge of the heavy administrative tasks and Juan Jose´s sons; Juan and Cesar Langa Gonzalez are responsible for the technical area. In this way, the problems, solutions, new projects, and hopes stay within the family setting. The family way of perceiving wine has made them to elect grape varieties, which contribute to the quality and distinction of the Langa Wines. They have proved that in Calatayud the Cabernets, Syrahs, Merlots blend with the traditional grape varieties of Spain; the result is excellent and unique wines second to none in the whole Calatayud D.O. Also of interest, all of the Langa vineyards are organic.
A few kilometers far away from Rioja D.O.C is Bodega Iturbide. The Bodega is situated in the south of Navarra in the valley of the Rio Arga. The situation in this side valley is very protected and very similar to the conditions of Rioja. Iturbide is a family business with 20 hectares of which 9 are certified organic. They are an inspired family and always full new ideas to increase the quality of their land and their wine.
